Apple Dumplings

4 apples peeled and cored, cut into quarters
2 cans crescent rolls
Wrap each apple quarter in one crescent roll

2 cups orange juice
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
Bring to a boil and remove from heat
Add 2 teaspoons vanilla
Pour over apple dumplings
Bake for 30 minutes at 350.
